2012 has been a year of transition for me, with it’s share of highs and lows. I therefore declare 2013 to be a year of vibrancy and joy. What better way to express vibrancy than with color!
So I turned to my dining room to set the tone for the year. While I loved the silver and gold Christmas tablescape (perfected, thanks to my good bloggin’ friend Deb), I was ready to go a different symbolic direction for the new year.
So I sorted through my various table stuff, and found the most colorful runner and napkins I could find.
I especially love the purple glasses I found at HomeGoods. I couple flameless candles, and I’ve got a little pizzazz for the table.
I loaded up an amber bowl with faux pears and another flameless candle.
I can’t wait to figure out how I’m going to keep this trend going through the rest of the home as I take down the Christmas decor.
What plans do you have for your home in 2013?
